From the moment I could grasp the concept of rhythm and melodies, I knew music was my calling. Born into a family that cherished diverse musical genres, from the soulful strains of jazz to the heartfelt narratives of country, my upbringing was a tapestry of soundscapes. Each note played in our home was a thread weaving through my childhood, shaping my dreams and aspirations. My journey into music wasn’t just a path chosen; it was destiny calling.
I went from practicing my singing every single day even while sick with a cold at the age of 5 to starting to write at least 2 or more songs every single day at the age of 11 in hopes to better my craft. From there I got into learning how to make my own beats/instrumentals of all genres. Once again practicing every day until I’ve mastered it. Many of my skills are self-taught through constant practice and the love of the art. But I’ve also had a great mentor who went to school for music production. As an artist I understand the importance of standing out amongst the many others that are out now. I also understand the importance of creating a sound that speaks to the depths of your soul that will help you tell your story. The beat is truly the heart of a song. I wanted to create this custom beat service to help other artists that may want to find their own unique sound but do not know where to start.
I was there at one point writing songs to already made beats on YouTube that countless others have already written to or recorded to. Some of these beats have even already been purchased and sold so you can no longer use it because the rights have been purchased. My dream was to find and create my own sound and no longer use pre-made beats, create something different and from scratch, something I can change when necessary. My dream now is to give that opportunity to other like-minded creators.
As a graduate from Point Park University with a degree in Entertainment Management I learned many things. The biggest thing I learned was the importance of branding. When researching all of the artists that have gained longevity such as Michael Jackson, Beyonce, Dolly Parton, Mariah Carey, etc. One thing they all have in common is that they have a unique style and sound that stands the test of time. Creating a long-lasting brand first starts with creating a sound that is synonymous with your brand as an artist. Most of the artists listed have performed songs of different genres but even then they have a very particular way of performing the songs, and the sounds used in the beats are still in many ways synonymous with their overall brand. It’s important to think about how your music will transcend time and if you will listen to it a decade or two from now. My goal is to help you create the best song to help take you to the next level and reach your goals as an artist and ultimately as a brand.
